I had a great time with the Scruggs’ at their Bull Creek family sessions! We headed to Bull Creek on a Saturday evening, and it was absolutely PACKED with photographers. Luckily, that didn’t stop us from finding some great spots to capture these loved ones! 

When Ashley and Paul reached out to schedule this shoot, I was so excited to book with them! I have had the pleasure of working with the Scruggs family a handful of times before. As always, they were super fun and brought great energy to the session together. I always love the opportunity to work with my clients over and over again as an Austin portrait photographer! It’s a special treat to watch as families grow and mature, and to be trusted to capture them at each new stage in life! 

We chose the perfect time for our shoot because we caught that always incredible golden hour light. I’m sure that’s why all the other photographers were there, too! The park was gorgeous and green, which was the perfect backdrop for their coordinated black outfits. Ashley added a hat for a few of the shots. Adding an accessory to give your pictures a new look is a great idea, and it’s so simple to do!
